Peumo Simulator is a Beta video game developed in Godot Engine. The code is written almost entirely in the C# programming language, with the exception of the shaders, which are written in the Godot shading language. The game has a didactic orientation, which aims to teach, or at least create a positive bridge between learning about native tree growing techniques and the user, all through an interactive interface and striking visual and audio design. To try to provide a fun and realistic experience, Peumo Simulator aims to incorporate real data on the development and breeding of  Chilean Peumo (Cryptocarya alba), integrating into its mechanics the evidence of Instituto Forestal (2012). Therefore, the game in short is about germinating, caring for and growing a specimen of Peumo through user interaction.

The current version of this game is only a beta, there were and still are many ideas that had to be cut for this version, being a game developed only by one person it is difficult to advance at high speed. For this reason, it is my regret to be aware that the current mechanics are too one-dimensional and simple. There are projections and personal hopes of being able to give users the opportunity to see not just 1 peumo, but a forest of them completely made into trees, along with climatic challenges and bonuses, new biomes, pests, insects, mushrooms, birds, reptiles, mammals , substrates, interactions with other plants and much more. Although everything will depend on the conditions of possibility.
